1. Countertop Replacement

The customer is satisfied with most of the room and likes the existing cabinet. The customer wants to refresh the room’s ambiance and make a statement with a change that improves its aesthetics. Then, the solution is to replace kitchen counters. In the  Tampa Bay area, countertop replacement typically takes less than 7 – 9 business days from when you call Nathan.

Nathan will work with you to replace kitchen counters and ensure the new countertop fits the room and makes the statement you want. It is easy to use his Concierge Design Service and provides the flexibility to noticeably enhance the room with a brand-new, beautiful countertop, complemented by sparkling new faucets and a sink. In addition, you can choose different options for the adjacent walls to the countertop, such as replacing the drywall, removing old tile, or including a backsplash that matches your countertop. Many people prefer a full-height quartz backsplash that will be easy to clean. A full-height quartz backsplash also brings a sense of luxury to the room. However, the backsplash doesn’t have to be quartz; it could be any stone that matches the style.

Nathan will handle the entire project, including removing the old countertop, disconnecting the plumbing, and disconnecting the electrical wiring. After the countertop is installed, you have two options: either hire your own plumber and electrician to connect the plumbing and electrical wiring, or Nathan can refer a licensed plumber and/or electrician to you, ensuring they are available for the countertop installation. Nathan wants the process of your countertop replacement to go as smoothly as possible, with the correct installation, and as fast as possible. The old countertop and all the construction debris will be removed, and the worksite will be cleaned up. Doing business with Nathan is easy.

2.Countertop & Cabinet Replacement

Customers choose this offering for one of the following reasons:

• The customer wants only the countertops and cabinets replaced as a single project. The countertop designer collaborates with the cabinet craftsman to create a unified design that matches the desired color and style, ensuring a cohesive look that complements the room’s ambiance.
• The customer wants to fully remodel the room over a few years by paying out a portion of the total cost at each interval of work. The approach is to design and replace the existing countertops and cabinets now. The following work plan is implemented based on the customer’s budget, which may include painting or wallpapering the room, new light fixtures, replacing the flooring, and upgrading the kitchen appliances. For bathrooms, the renovation may consist of a new tub and/or shower, new mirrors, and updated light fixtures, along with re-tiling.

Collaborative Implementation

This offering is explicitly focused on removing the old cabinets and creating a countertop design with cabinet selection. The countertop and cabinet combination is the centerpiece of the room, which can significantly change the room’s interior beauty.

This offering relies on Nathan’s Network of Partners in Tampa Bay. Nathan will provide the customer with a referral list of experienced cabinet artisans that he knows personally and has worked with in the past. Once the customer chooses the cabinet craftsman, Nathan will call a design session in the customer’s home to determine the type of stone for the countertop and the cabinet color and style. The session will include reviewing photos of different engineered and natural stones and cabinets, as well as samples of stone and cabinet panels for the customer to see and touch.

Once the customer agrees on a stone type and color and cabinet selection, Nathan will present the customer with a proposal and an accurate estimate for the countertop and one for the cabinet. If possible, Nathan highly recommends the customer physically view the cabinet in person.

Once the customer approves the new cabinet and placement, Nathan will re-shoot the laser measurement and begin a detailed design of the countertop. If the customer decides to change the scope of the project by asking for more cabinets, the request will increase the price and delay the project. Nathan and the cabinet craftsman will do everything to accommodate the customer’s request.

The customer will provide final approval of the detailed design, and Nathan will start the fabrication portion of the process. The next step is the installation of the countertops, which follows Nathan’s Concierge Design Service. It takes less than 7 – 9 business days to install your countertop(s), starting from when Nathan re-shoots the laser measurement.  

Please note that this offering may require a county permit if the renovation goes beyond just replacing the existing cabinet. For example, if the customer decides to add another sink, to include a kitchen island, or to install a wall, a permit may be required from the county. Also, a Notice of Commencement (NOC) may be required for real property improvements in the specific county when the project cost exceeds $5,000. 

3. Remodel with Countertops by Nathan

This offering is a complete remodeling of either a kitchen or bathroom as a single project being headed by a licensed General Contractor. Since Rock Solid Granite & Marble only does countertops, Nathan will work with the General Contractor in charge.

Suppose you don’t have a General Contractor that you can trust. In that case, Nathan can provide a list of reputable contractors that are licensed and that Nathan has worked with in the past on many projects and have demonstrated excellent results.

Collaborative Implementation

Nathan will work and coordinate with the General Contractor of your choice to create the high-quality countertop that you want. Nathan recommends that you hire him directly; he reports to you. Or, you can have the General Contractor subcontract the countertops portion of the project to Rock Solid Granite & Marble. Nathan will work with you and the General Contact to design a countertop based on your requirements and complements the selected cabinets and the overall color and style of the room.

Once the cabinets are installed correctly, Nathan will take a laser measurement and begin the detailed design of your countertop in accordance with his Concierge Design Service. Once you approve the detailed design, he will install the new countertops in less than 7 – 9 business days.

Nathan will work with you directly to discuss the different stones, colors, and vein patterns and answer all your questions. He will guide you in selecting the best countertop stone to fit your lifestyle. In his design session, he helps you decide on the desired features, including any special edge profiles, waterfalls, panels, and backsplashes, as well as any trade-offs on pricing. Nathan provides either a 2-year or a lifetime warranty on his countertops.
