As an experienced Sales Consultant, Nathan provides a one-on-one education to bring you up to speed on Engineered and Natural Stone Countertops. Then, he will guide you through his process to determine the right stone for your countertop, get all your requirements, take precise measurements, and work with you to create a custom design of your countertop. The result is a proposal with a final price.
How is the final price calculate?
Nathan’s prices each countertop project based on the specific cost of the bill of materials for the parts, stone, fabrication services and installation labor and the amount of Nathan’s consultative services required to create art.
The price of a basic custom-design countertop system is fundamentally dependent on the amount of surface square footage and the type and grade of the stone used. Thus, when choosing the stone category, the individual stone slab, and the total surface area of the countertop, these factors significantly affect the price. The greater the surface area, the higher the price. However, if the client is budget-conscious, being a penny-pincher can influence the choice of stone category and slab selection to be most cost-effective, thereby reducing the price. Also, the number of countertop features selected by the client will contribute to the price, such as the number of sinks, type of sink, edge profile, stone finish, etc.
The final price is based on the sum of the contributing costs and the amount of consultative services to design and manage the countertop through conclusion.
What are hidden or extra charges?
Nathan’s Concierge Design Service is priced to include no hidden or extra costs, unless there is a change to the scope of the Statement of Work (SOW) or requirement. The proposal with the final price is the price for the entire project according to the SOW
Nathan’s final price, unless stated otherwise in the proposal, is a fixed price that includes everything, such as the cutout for the sink, demolition and removal of the old countertop, the services of the electrician and plumber for disconnection and connection, cost of the sink & faucet, and other stuff to complete the job.
